Liar Liar by MJ Arlidge

Liar Liar (Helen Grace Book 4) by MJ Arlidge; 434 pages

Summary:

Fires are being set across South Hampton. Six fires in a 24 hour span. Three people dead and Detective Helen Grace has no solid leads. Time is not on her side as she has to find the arsonist before they set any more fires.

My thoughts:

This book was definitely not one of my favorites in the series. The crime was different from the first few books but the process of solving it was so drawn out. The book easily could have been 50 to 60 pages shorter, if not more, than it was.

I’m also a little tired of reading about Helen and her personal life.

Otherwise it was a good book and, after the ending, I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book.
