review 1: So at first it took me some time to get used to all the new characters etc but once I did I couldn't put the book down I love the fact that there is everything in these books and would suit all ages groups!R J Anderson has become one of my favorite authors quickly ever since I read Knife, she has a wonderful way of drawing you right into the book and making you imagine every detail as if you was living in the story itself.This book is truly gripping I was literally up some days till 2 in the morning my eyes stinging and still all I could do was continue reading, there is magic, murder, mayhem, love and day to day lessons in life all rolled into this book - a MUST read!
review 2: I don't usually enjoy fantasy/fairy novels, but my 12 year old niece Vivien recomme... morended this trilogy to me. If I'm really honest, if I'd have had anything else to read in my house, I wouldn't have read them. But I did. And I have to say that I really enjoyed them. I suspended disbelief and became lost in them, cared about the characters and couldn't put these books down. I will listen to my niece's fabulous suggestions in future and bow to her good taste in books.The two novels preceding this one were called "Knife" and "Rebel", but they seem to have different titles on good reads, although they are still grouped together as "Faery Rebels". less
