review 1: So.This book is simultaneously awful and awesome.Awesome, of course, because of the nonstop action, the combat operative banter, and the plot that just will not let you catch your breath.Awful, because it is all tremendously believable, and makes you really wonder how much of this has been tested already. I know, I know. I better go get my tinfoil hat ready now. But seriously, the thought of some of this stuff is fucking scary. But awesome. So yes. I just pre-ordered book 3, which if you haven't done yet, you can do on Nathan Farrugia's website, and you should. Because these books are fricking awesome.
review 2: Wow. I don't know if I've ever read more exhilarating action. This book is definitely quite a thrill. I enjoyed it even more than the first one as y... moreou get to find out a little more about the characters as you go. I particularly liked Sophia in this book as she seemed more intense and definitely on edge. The whole "nothing left to lose" scenario makes it quite the ride. I still struggle with some of the more technical aspects but it doesn't take away from the overall story. A great read. less
