A massive search is underway after 12 inmates broke free from an Alabama prison on Sunday night. The inmates escaped from Walker County Jail in Jasper at about 6.30pm. Eight of them had been recaptured by 11.30 but the other four are still on the run. Two of those who escaped were jailed for attempted murder.Ethan Howard Pearl, 24, of Jasper who was jailed for resisting arrest, obstructing government operations, possession of drug paraphernalia, promoting prison contraband, and failure to appear. Steven Blake Lamb, 28, of Quinton was jailed for attempted murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree theft, reckless endangerment and probation revocations. He was captured by police at 10.42pm. Michael Adam McGuff, 30, of Jasper was captured at 10.30pm. He was serving a prison sentence for third-degree escape and obstructing government operations.
