Mainland students in XJTLU have been training nonstop for 6 days and they still have one day to go. We have the tradition of mandatory military training for freshmen. I remember when I was a freshman, the air quality was so bad that we only trained for 2 days. We should thank the “Coal-to-Gas Project” for giving the south a blue sky.
Though I’m living in the south, I read the news that the north doesn’t have enough gas to generate heat. You also should know the fact that in the north part of the China people have central heating (it could date back to the mid 20th century when China was learning from the Soviet Union). Recently the capital of China drove out the “low-end population”, I feel sympathy for these people suffering from homeless and cold.
Somehow I feel guilty for having the blue sky. My happiness stems from the misfortune of the northern people.
