New Season, New Beginnings

So much has changed in the past year, where do I even begin? Well first, I have a new job! I’m finally in the Culinary industry! I’m a Pastry Cook at the Parker Hotel! It’s so cool being apart of the Parker pastry team. I’ve learned so much in such a little bit of time. All of my co-workers are super supportive and patient with me despite my inexperience. I’m doing my best to catch up with the team. My boss, Chantal, assures me that I’m doing great (I’m hope that’s true, haha!). One thing is for sure is that I’ve learned how to be much faster in the kitchen. Thank Goodness for that! It used to take me an hour to make buttercream! But I obviously can’t do that in a professional kitchen with such time constraints. Just look at the work I’ve done so far!

In other news, for those of you who have been following my Instagram and other social media you probably know that I turned 21! I’ve been wanting to be 21 for obvious reasons, haha! I can finally have more of a social life. I’m the youngest out of all my friends, so its been hard trying to find places I go hang with them. But now the sky is the limit! Of course now I have to do it around my work schedule (I have night shifts).

I feel like I’ve changed so much in the ups and downs of the past year. I hope this upcoming year is full of fun experiences and yummy treats! Hopefully I can finally get my own car by the end of next year! I’m ready to change with the seasons.
