As a fan of the franchise, I went into this film knowing I’d enjoy it. However, I have to say it wasn’t as good as its predecessors. That’s not me saying this one isn’t good because it was. I enjoyed it and it was hilarious at times but it was just very different and much more dramatic. I loved the concept of them on tour performing at different locations around the world. However, them bringing in a father for Fat Amy and having him kidnap the Bella’s was a bit over the top and unnecessary. Since when can Fat Amy fight like that? It was the most unrealistic film of the three. I feel like if they took that storyline out it would have been better. Keep it about the music.

I liked the new characters that were introduced. A couple of new male characters were introduced and they were a very welcome addition to the squad. I think if I was to ever re-visit these films, I’d watch the first two and miss this one because it was just too different and didn’t have the same effect as the first two, for me anyway.

I enjoyed the way they ended the film. The final song was enjoyable and the final performance was kind of bittersweet. It was a nice ending to the whole three films if this is going to be the last one.

I do hope this is the final film because I think it’s losing its spark. Franchises have to come to an end at some point so I hope they don’t milk it because it will go downhill from here. Three films are enough, I don’t know what else they could do with these characters. It definitely f

A good film!
