Against the Keydets, the sophomore out of Winchester, VA put forth the best performance of his young collegiate career.

Wofford broke the game open in the first half, thanks to a 15-2 run that gave them an 18-point lead when all was said and done. With 1:24 left in the half, Donovan Theme-Love capped off the run with a layup to give the Terriers the 49-31 advantage.
The Terriers took a 14-point lead into the break, and didn’t look back over the final 20 minutes.
VMI cut the deficit down to 13 points, at 75-62, on a layup from Branch, with under six minutes to play. However, they were unable to get any closer as the game ticked down to the closing seconds.
Wofford never trailed on the night, and cruised to the 18-point victory over the Keydets, 88-70.
Thursday’s win marked the second-straight victory for the Wofford Terriers (8-11, 3-3), following a three-game slide. They will look to keep to their winning ways on Sunday afternoon when they head on the road to take on the East Tennessee State Buccaneers.
The VMI Keydets (4-13, 1-5) have now lost two straight games, and four of their last six overall. They will look to break out of their recent funk on Saturday afternoon when they take on the Furman Paladins.
