The Cahill Witch Chronicles
review 1: I almost put this book down. It took me a long time to really get into it, but once I did, I liked the story. This story shows just how far people will go for the safety of their family. I love the history of the Salem Witch Trials and this book uses that history as a backdrop for the story, but with a twist. I would like to read the next book in the series to see what happens. This story left me curious.
review 2: I liked this - I liked the Regency feel of it and the alternate history (I know, I know, I'm a sucker for good world-building). I didn't LOVE Cate Cahill. I found her a little wishy-washy and super indecisive, but the situations she found herself in required big decisions and big bravery, which I can see a relatively sheltered teenager lacking. I
... morelove Finn and Marianne Belastra though! This isn't a masterpiece novel by any means (I think I've been reading too many BIG IMPORTANT BOOKS lately), but it is fun and fast and fluffy. less

Loved this one, especially the fact that there were strong girls who supported each other.
