The second book after White Hot Kiss series I read from Jennifer L Armentrout/J.Lynn.
I already expect some cringe moment because of this romance genre, new adult. This book is… an okay for me. The story drag you too long, especially because there is some background event for the main characters. But the moment Avery tell about leaving the past and stuff, I already suspect it from the start. Why not just telling? It didn’t surprise me. Avery character is… I don’t really like her, but I don’t hate her too. I know she has been through everything and such, that case isn’t the reason I don’t like her, because she was too honey dripping for a guy. Cam. Oh, God, couldn’t she just pull herself together. She is just playing hard. How J. Lynn write about Avery didn’t make me like her, too easy for blushing, and the other scenes and things……….. ugh.
Cam too. He is a good guy, well, everyone know he is a good guy. Usually, I would like this type of guy in the story, but again, I am not feeling Cam. Too sweat…. too cringe for me. There are cringe moments in books that I could really like and there are also books that I do not. This book was not my favorite style of expressing these cringe and sweat moments.
Well, overall, okay read once again, still not a read I enjoy.
