In relation with our central idea ‘properties of matter can be manipulated for different purposes’, EY 2 students had experiments about changing solid into liquid. These activities helped the students grow their understanding about how matter can be manipulated for different uses. The students observed and explored objects and also materials provided to see the changing matter. They filled in the ‘Scientific Booklet’ to record their question, hypothesis, and also the result of their experiment.
