review 1: I have enjoyed this author's writing and this book did not disappoint. The mystery starts off within the first few minutes of the book and it doesn't quit. Once that 'tap on the window' happens, your mind thinks 'well, what could go wrong.' Well, it does... and more! Every chapter is... "WHAT??" I have another book of Linwood Barclay's ("No Safe House") that I can't wait to start! Each book gets better & better.
review 2: Good stuff as usual from this author. Enjoyed it and was kept interested by the central mystery. Only two minor criticism: 1) it was a bit long and could have lost about 10-20% of its page-count. 2) the conclusion to the secondary mystery - no spoilers - left me a bit flat and felt a bit tacked on. That said, the minor criticisms shouldn'... moret put a potential reader off. I read a lot of crime and this was a good read. less
