September Wrap Up

This was a hectic first month of the semester for me and I’m not looking forward to continuing all that much, to be honest. I started uni classes and driving classes and I have so much homework, and barely any time to eat a proper lunch. I’m so glad September’s over, and I’m so glad I still managed to post so much. I hope I can keep that up. If only I could skip October and all the tests and assignments I have to do… Oh well, better get started with the wrap-up!

Books Read:

I was on a book ban but I ordered Tower of Dawn because I can’t stop thinking about Rowaelin, Elide and Lochan, Manon and Dorian, and Aedion and Lysandra! THEY’RE ALL SO PRECIOUS, ESPECIALLY ABRAXOS! I read these four TOG books on my first week of classes. I had sooo much time that week, every teacher canceled at least one class and there one or two days when I didn’t have classes at all!

The Midnight Sea wasn’t as good as I expected but it was definitely entertaining and I’m looking forward to reading the next one.

  • Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas – 5 stars
  • Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas – 5 stars (2nd favorite)
  • Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas – 5 stars
  • Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas – 5 stars (favorite)
  • The Midnight Sea by Kat Ross – 3.5-4 stars

Here’s a list of some of the movies I watched this month (for the first time) that I really enjoyed and strongly recommend:

    • The Innocents – 4 stars
    • Kong: Skull Island – 3.5 stars
    • The Empire Strikes Back – 3.5 stars
    • King Arthur: Legend of the Sword – 4.5 stars  (one of my favorites of all the movies I watched this month; I would just like to thank god for Charlie Hunnam)
    • IT – 4 stars

Unpopular opinion of the month: I really disliked Baby Driver and it was painful to finish, and I don’t see what all the hype is about.
