Final Thoughts
I saw the DVD cover for this television movie when I was shelving on my shelver job at The BP Library last year, I think, and I was surprised to see that Ruth Wilson and Benedict Cumberbatch were in the same film so I was curious to watch it to see how those two would interact with each other and because it seemed like it could be interesting because it would probably explore several different topics (like World War II, racism, ethnocentrism, race, et cetera).
This television movie was okay, I thought that it would be better though, and I felt that Benedict Cumberbatch was wasted in this film and I did not like his character and his character was underutilized.
Ruth Wilson was good as usual, and she made up for the disappointment that I had in Mr. Cumberbatch’s character and his underuse in the film.
