Star Dust

Drift back whilst slow voices churn on waves of haze: dreaming and hoping that you’ll land some day to blow our minds in this wave’s hazy phase. Let’s linger and laugh in silvery moonlight loosing selves and find selves in varying ways: wondering if it’s worthwhile, as we waiting for your light. we won’t do great things, changing world in one day: though let’s change some things, in our small ways.   As you near, nothing will drive you away, So, we’ll steal time and hope to breath, to live in clearest, sweetest air for one more bright day. We’ll drive fear away as it’s worth it to thrive even while we wait, dreams dashing away. Maybe Descartes was right, maybe we’re nothing as we linger and linger on frosty ground, romancing forever. we won’t do great things, changing world in one day: though let’s change some things, in our small ways. Let’s carry on, your falling: never coming. Let’s start with (s)he staring back in the mirror as stirring my mind, this wind that’s blowing making it clearer that there’s naught any clearer. Let’s move, let’s swirl: starting, changing, flowing with the one staring back in the mirror.
