review 1: A few pages into the book I started thinking some of those equations were a little uninspired, even lame. However I really, really like the concept, and the colorful pictures are fun, so much that I'm going to rate it four stars even if the book could have been executed considerably better. And the book would be great in a class room, having students come up with their own "life equations". Overall quite inspirational!
review 2: Math PB 21: I enjoyed this book because it was a fun natured way for children to get familiar with the idea of addition without learning actual mathematical equations. Although I appreciated most of the book, there were some equations that had little relevance such as “smile + ocean wave = beach.” However, I did enjoy this story overall and I think children would have a fun time reading it! less
