Streamline & Simplify: A Poem

Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother! (Matthew 12:50)

When the dish pile tumbles
Overcooked meat crumbles
Bow your head, be humble

When your marriage tightens and tests
Hold one another and confess
For He knows we falter when the goal is best

When the gray hair shines
And the knees crack every stinkin time
Know you are ageless to Him who says, “Beloved you are mine”

When worry creeps
Leading you to treachery steep
Memorize God’s promises to keep

Forgive me but it seems
The well-lived life
Is not a midnight dream

It is tangible
In the here and in the now
So entirely manageable …

Streamlining one’s soul,
Aligning ones will
With He who sits on the throne

To

Simplify and lessify the you

To
Edify and magnify OUR LORD

Who is
And Was
And is to come
