Stuffed Pancakes

When it comes to cooking, failing to mention Chef Gordon Ramsay would be a sin. He is Chetan’s personal favorite, who loves his technicality, preciseness, and recipes. I, on the other hand, find him a little harsh but do love his YouTube videos and the way he explains his every step in detail. Today, we tried out Gordon Ramsay styled spicy potato pancakes which he has mentioned in his top 5 Indian dishes list.

Pancakes are an on-the-go dish which is easy to make and serves as a perfect breakfast or lunch. For the spicy potato pancake, we made the batter with flour, eggs, milk, chopped green chillies and roasted cumin. For the stuffing, we prepared the boiled potatoes with mustard seeds, turmeric, and onion.

For the other one, Chetan experimented with the stuffing and used freshly chopped veggies including carrots, beet, lettuce, onion, yogurt, and cheese. Turned out very good.

P.S- We had some batter left so I boiled the potatoes to make the spicy potato pancakes. However, they ended up being overcooked, so I mashed them with boiled green peas and grated cheese and prepared the stuffing. It wasn’t bad. Try experimenting with your own stuffing and do let us know about it.
