What: Beautiful natural park with views of the Pacific Ocean
Where: Ladera Street and Sunset Cliffs Boulevard, Ocean Beach, San Diego
Perfect for: A sunset stroll along the water, either alone or with a partner
For a while I’ve been really wanting to share one of my favorite places in San Diego – Sunset Cliffs. This stunning natural park is a must-visit for anyone in town, as it is so incredibly beautiful and easy to access. It’s just a short drive from downtown or the beach communities, and it’s a wonderful place for a walk or even a picnic with a partner or friends. It’s also a great place to come with your dog. As the name suggests, the view is usually the best as the sun is setting, so I recommend heading there around four or five PM. If the tide is low, be sure to head down the stairs on the west side of the park and walk along the ocean! It’s the perfect place to pick up souvenir shells.
