review 1: WOW what can I say...I have had books that tug at the heart and bring my emotions high but I have never experienced a book that actually made me cry. Sadie's sorrow is so deep and the author brings those emotions right to the page. You heart breaks page after page of the torment Sadie puts herself through. Until she meets Zander the one man who could open her heart again to love. Zander will do anything to make Sadie happy again. He holds a very precious gift that only Sadie can cherish as much as him. Can Sadie let go of Jake and find the happiness that is truly right in front of her or will she run back to her hiding place again.
review 2: Everything felt drawn out. The beach description felt like it went on forever and although Sadie's complaining and s... moreelf depreciation in the beginning made sense, it was very draining to read through. Every little thing didn't need an explanation from every angle. all of the characters lacked depth except for Sadie. I don't understand the romance, but I think it's because I don't really care for zander. I wish there was more to him or maybe more time with his family. I felt the scenes with Sadie's mom were the best. less
