The Autumn Book Tag

This week on Twin Reads we are going to be catching up on some tags! Especially because a couple of them have to do with the season (like the one we are doing today, duh) and if we wait any longer, its going to be winter and the relevance of Autumn or Fall Book Tags will be no more! With that being said, we are SO excited to share with you guys the Autumn Book Tag today. As you probably have realized by now, we LOVE fall; it’s our favorite season. There is nothing better than crisp air and leaves, the smell of bonfires, halloween movies, candy and going to the cider mill. So, it makes perfect sense that the books we associate with the Fall/Autumn season are also some of our FAVORITES. WE. JUST. LOVE. FALL. OKAY?!?!?!?

Anyways … now that we have convinced you guys of how much we love Autumn, its time to introduce the tag. Today we are doing the Autumn Book Tag! We we’re tagged by the wonderful Dani @ Perspective of a Writer. We absolutely adore her blog, and we think you would to! She loves YA fiction, just like us, and is even a huge Korean Drama fan. In other words, she’s basically our soulmate hahaha. But seriously, her blog is amazing, so do please check out her blog and her post for the Autumn Book Tag either before or after reading our post (or whenever, we don’t care, just give her some love)!

So, now that we have introduced you to the wonderful blogger who tagged us, its now time to get to the rules/directions for the tag…

Rules for the Tag

  • Thank the (undoubtedly, AWESOME) person who tagged you (Us – Meg and Leah @ Twin Reads)!
  • Answer the following 9 questions…
  • Tag some people to do it! Spread the love!

Best autumnal themed book cover?

Forever by Maggie Stiefvater

What’s more fall-like than a forest full of reddish-trees? We’ll be damned if those leaves aren’t falling soon! Are we right or are we right?

Which fictional friend group would trust with a Ouija board?

Percy Jackson and friends from Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan

We just feel like Percy knows how to deal with a prophecy or destiny or fate. They would have to know what to do with whatever weirdness a Ouija board spits out at them! Right…?

Which book setting would you love to be celebrating in during Halloween night?

Forks from Twilight by Stephanie Meyer

Something about the Pacific Northwest in Fall sounds like the perfect setting for a Halloween night. Not to mention in Forks there would be actual paranormal creatures roaming the night with all of us Halloween-goers. Not sure if that scares us or not, but it does seem kind of exciting…

Best autumnal food description inside of a story?

We don’t want to do this, but we are going to have to copy with Dani on this one! We tried and tried to come up with another food description or feast scene of an autumnal nature in one of our favorite stories, and nothing seems to come to mind like the feasts held at Hogwarts on the holidays (or any day to be honest). Like, who doesn’t want a meal solely consisting of candy and sweets on Halloween????

Which fictional character would you dress as?

Voldemort from Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

We have actually been there and done that already lol. Probably around … third grade? What kind of third grade girl wouldn’t want to dress up in an ominous black cloak and pretend she is a soul splitting murderer???

An antagonist you would pledge your allegiance to?

Warner from Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

He’s really not that bad of a guy, you know
