rating: 2.9/5 》 this book was, honestly okay! i don’t mean that in a super negative way, as i hate giving bad reviews on books, but it was far from my favorite. honestly, i struggled with the main character/narrator. for 90% of the book, he was hard to connect with and too cocky. it was nice to see him change towards the end, but only because of major life changes he had to face. i felt like the author didn’t take enough time for me to connect with any of the other characters. what I did love about this book was the character vesna, the serbian old lady. the dialect used for her was perfect and made me wish to know a real life vesna. 《
