Stepping away for this post from my usual fantasy reviews, ‘There’s something about you’ by Yashodhara Lal is an Indian romance novel.
The book follows the lives of Trish and Sahil and goes on to bring them together in a story like no other.
The good thing about this story is that it doesn’t simply revolve around just love and romance. Rather, there’s a lot more happening in the story that makes it much more interesting.
The story follows Trish, a 28 year old unemployed girl, trying to understand and make sense of her life.
We’ve all seen how today’s society looks at overweight single women. Yashodhara Lal does an excellent job of putting this into the story.
One by one, Trish faces problems with her nosy neighbors, her ailing father with Alzheimer’s, and even financial problems. But of course, it doesn’t stop there. She meets Sahil, a 35 year old man who is a psychic.

So yea, just when you think you know the story, that’s when something new happens.
Over all, this book is one of the most interesting romance novels I have read so far.
Yashodhara Lal manages to keep the readers engaged and interested right until the end.
