review 1: If you're still reading the Nightside books then you probably quite like them and know what to expect. If you aren't already into the series this almost certainly isn't the place to start.I think these books are determinedly entertaining, not deep and philosophical but full of ideas and humour. This one goes up to five stars because it surprised me by raising an emotional reaction from me at the end! So - enjoyable and entertaining - Simon R Green is always worth a read.
review 2: I really, really enjoyed The Bride Wore Black Leather! The Walker was fun to be around. I liked his friends. There was very little about Shotgun Susie in this book even though the title is about her and she is on the cover. She only makes two appearances. I also liked all the creepy n... moreightside people, like Deadboy and Razor Sharp Eddie. Super fun listen. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good book to read or listen to. less
