Until You’re Mine by Samantha Hayes | Mini Review

Guys, I really think I should consider a career change and become a detective. My mum read Until You’re Mine before me and raved about a great twist…a great twist that I guessed almost straight away. Although I’m a genius and worked the main twist out quickly, there were still enough surprises to keep me entertained.

Until You’re Mine alternates between the points of view of three women; the heavily pregnant Claudia, her new nanny Zoe and Lorraine, an overworked detective. Claudia has the perfect life; a loving husband, two cute stepsons, a job she loves, and a beautiful home. The only thing missing was a baby of her own. When she finally gets pregnant she’s determined that she will have the perfect pregnancy and give her baby the best start in life. To help her she hires Zoe, a perfect live in nanny. However, when pregnant women start getting murdered, Claudia begins to fear that Zoe isn’t as perfect as she originally thought…

I really enjoyed reading Until You’re Mine. I love a good thriller, but often feel like the author tries too hard to pull off a massive twist and throws in too many red herrings. I feel like the author really managed to get a good balance, there’s lots of different storylines but not too many that it feels distracting. And although I guessed the main twist, there were still plenty of other reveals that paid off. If you like a thriller you’ll definitely enjoy Until You’re Mine. I’ve been super busy with uni work recently and haven’t had much

I’ve been super busy with uni work recently and haven’t had any time to read, so I’m desperate to find a good book to read. Can anyone make any recommendations?
