WWW Wednesday: Read, Reading, Will Read (27)

Welcome to WWW Wednesday, a meme currently being hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words. It’s a place for you to do a little update on what your reading plans are.

The Three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?

1. American Queen by Sierra Simone

A little Erotica to spice up my life. This book has such an interesting concept and, so far, it’s being developed really well! Simone’s writing is great and engaging, and the fast pace makes this a pretty entertaining read. The only problem is the lack of kink negotiation.

2. This Shattered World by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner

YA Sci-Fi! This is the second installment in the Starbound series. I’m still at the very beginning, so I don’t have much of an opinion on it yet. I do like that this follows a different couple than the first novel, though. And I’m really curious to see what happens.

What did you recently finish reading?
  • The Girl in the Tower by Katherine Arden: Great sequel! The folklore continues to be amazing, although Vasya is a bit frustrating. Review here.
  • Locked in Silence by Sloane Kennedy: Really sweet M/M Romance. The setting was beautiful and the relationship development was great. Review to come.
  • What do you think you’ll read next? The Coppersmith Farmhouse by Devney Perry

Romance book! I just need something light and sweet to celebrate the end of the semester.

Gigi has just uprooted her whole world to start a new life. The unexpected gift of a farmhouse in small-town Montana is just what she and her daughter need to escape big-city loneliness. The last thing she needs is attitude from the town’s sheriff, the most perfectly attractive and ruggedly handsome man she’s ever laid eyes on—and a complete jerk.
