review 1: gosh this book had me worried soooo much, makking me angry which led to crying then to throwing the book at my wall(poor wall) uuuuhhh frustrating. I just dont know how someone HUMAN could be do cruel and just plain DISGUSTING. It made me want to vomit, but mostly want to knock the hell out of this damn women...uuuhhh carol the witch . I wish i would have been there for her ya know? i have friends who have been through this stuff and maaaan was t hard to convinve them to stay with me..luckily never went that far...i dont know what kind of family would EVER do this, it so uuuuhh there are no words. So thank you to Rebeccca for this book, these words that really hit me, the reality behind closed doors frightens me and i was able to experience it through emma.:(... more...:)
review 2: This book is hard to put into words. It is a book where one minute your be crying and the next you want to scream, I think it was stupid that she wouldn't tell anyone about her aunt just because of her cousins, I know she only did it because she wanted her cousins to have both their parents but in the end they lost their mom anyway. I think the love story between Evan and Emma was amazing! She had never had someone love her before and I don't think she would have made it much longer in life without Evan. It kind of annoyed me when Emma and Evan broke up all because she wouldn't tell him what happens at her house. It really made me mad when she was like " we can only be friends" and then when they " weren't friends anymore" she went off and started dating that nasty drew guy. So there were some things that made me mad but other than that I loved the book!! less
