review 1: Honestly, sometimes I'm not sure why I'm reading this series. It's over the top dramatic. I end up rolling my eyes half the time as Emma stumbles into something horrible AGAIN and makes the poorest choices known to man. However, the writing is good and the characters are a lot of fun. I feel like that happy ending is in there (and would come sooner if Emma would make better life choices) but it hasn't arrived yet.
review 2: I sometimes find my self so attached to the characters & their lives. Emma is one of them. The first book just about gave me a heart attack but as I read through this one & found out more information I was left elated at times & heartbroken at others. The end of this one though really threw me & I was just inexplicably upset...like my husban... mored had just left me upset. I couldn't even wait to go back to work to start the last book. Amazing story. less
