review 1: I actually would rate this story 3.5 stars. This is a Kindle Serial so keep in mind this is a story told over many volumes.I started reading Blissful because I finished reading Red's absolutely amazing BDSM story Brie, which I wholeheartedly loved so much that I needed something else by Red to wet my appetite. Enter Blissfully Snowbound.I honestly did have some reservations about this story and had a difficult time with some of the messages that were being delivered by the h/h with regards to cheating and their long term committed relationships.That being said I was extremely concerned with how this story was going to end but with how this volume actually ended I felt a little more okay with the sequence of events that had taken place up to that point. All I'm going to ... moresay is at least they were finally honest with everyone including themselves.I am definitely going to continue reading this series because if it's anything like Brie, then the first volume will be a little rocky for me and then the story picks right up and keeps me entertained. Not to mention I think I'm in love with Red Phoenix ;)DISCLAIMER: Do not read if you take issue with deep throating, anal, snow used in sex play, two-timing, or strip poker.
review 2: So, I'm slowly working my way through Red's other books while patiently waiting for book 7 of Brie's adventures.It's a foregone conclusion that I'm going to love anything Red publishes so I'm really not going to say much except for the fact that I love this story! It wasn't what I expected after starting with Brie. I loved how all of the characters are fully developed although I would like to know what Brie and Dan do for a living even though that's not an integral part of the story. They are friends who have the though of should, coulda, woulda, and they did. They so did! And they fell in love. I actually think they always loved each other they just never really addressed it. I'm excited to see what book 4 brings and how Kelly will effect their relationshp and subsequent friendship with Ryan. Will Ryan want to be friends with them? Oooh! So many questions and options! I can't wait! less
