review 1: It has been well over a year, almost two years since reading the first Brie book. Reading this now takes me right back to that collaring moment in this story. As we hear from Sir's POV, I can almost feel his intense emotions before, during and after the ceremony. What an emotional moment that still has me crying, laughing and woo hooing after reading this short story. Very well written Red Phoenix.
review 2: This has been such a wonderful series. But to read His POV was such a treat! I so enjoyed knowing that Sir had a hard time not like Brie. Knowing that he wanted to be with Brie but not allowed to follow is desires. This also showed the true feelings he had for Brie from the very beginning. As you read this series you think Sir is aloof and disconnected. But
... more after reading this book, you know that is FAR from the truth. Sir wanted Brie, but was putting her first in thinking he was "damaged goods" and Brie deserved more. But as we know that is not how things in their lives go. Thank you Red for sharing with us what was happening to Sir during this time of self discovery. less

Really surprised by this book. It's short and sweet but actually has a story going on.
