review 1: به محض این که با لحنی که اندکی آزادی در آن است، احساسات خود را بیان می کنم، با تغییر کنایی چهره ها رو به رو می شوم: تو همه چی برای خوشبخت شدن داری. احساس می کنم آن ها سرم فریاد می کشند: ساکت شو، تو حق شکایت نداری. و بعد دیگر گوش کسی به حرفهایم بدهکار نیست. با این همه من نیت شکایت ندارم، فقط سعی می کنم با دقت - و البته با شوخی - فهرستی از نارضایتی هایم را بر زبان بیاورم...
review 2: This book tries too much to look greater than it is.We can see that from the pretentious title: "The most b... moreeautiful book in the world". From the start you know that won't be the case, but you want to give it a try anyway. The title is daring, it makes you curious. Unfortunately, that is probably the best part of this book.The stories, if not all, most of them, were entertaining, but the ending always felt flat. The had a simple message delivered very straight forward. I could accept that, but I couldn't accept the fact that the author wanted us to believe that behind his words there was something more. There wasn't. With this book, what you see is what you get. It felt like those types of stories a neighbor would tell you: "and then she said", "and he was like"... you know the type.The most entertaining story was probably the first one. Wanda was a strong character, but I couldn't help to think her character was a little extreme. I like that she wasn't shown as a bad character despite everything. I also liked the last story, about the girls imprisoned in Siberia, but that ending was such a letdown. So no, this isn't the most beautiful book in the world. but it does deserve a try. Simple stories about life... might get to you in the right moment. less
