review 1: Cute and funny! Bella takes her dog for a stroll across the page and he is promptly eaten by the book. Her friend Ben, a fire truck, and other helpers are all eaten by the book. Finally, Bella goes to investigate and throws out a note asking the reader for help. Turn the book sideways and shake out Bella, her dog, and everyone else.Perfect for ages 4 - 6, my kindergarteners really enjoyed this ridiculous and absurd story.
review 2: This is a cute book about Bella and her dog who disappears in the middle of the book while on a walk. A whole parade of people and vehicles also disappear into the book to find him including Bella at the end. A letter pops back out to instruct the reader to tilt the book and shake them out. Things then get back to normal....almos... moret! The pages are large and colorful and the characters are adorable. less
