review 1: if you've read the first book you know roughly what yo expect from this. I did feel that Immune seemed to be more gripping than the first instalmemt, and with more involvememt from the adult characters it seemed to be somewhat better written. However, the problems from the first are still visible - the teenage characters are poorly developed and the whole thing seems unable to accurately convey the emotions that the author wants you to feel. Not bad, and I will read the final book, but this is in no way a groundbreaking series.
review 2: Just finished book #2 of the Rho Agenda series. This was much better than the 1st book. The plotting was much more complex. The political intrigue, tension, and out right horror made this a gripping read for me. The charact
... moreers were better fleshed out as real people. Despite the fact their abilities bordered on the fantastic. The 'Ripper' was a little too invincible for my taste. Maybe Phillips will solve that problem in book 3 'Wormhole' . We shall see. less

Part of a series. Skimmed over some of the violence in this one, but the story was interesting.
