review 1: Well first of all, it says the author of this book is Rick Riordan but its not. When I first found that, I was shocked. Its not written by Rick Riordan. Its written by somebody else. If you want proof that I am telling the truth, go check on amazon.com and type in ‘Kane Chronicles Survival Guide', then look in the reviews. Although overall the book was good but could have been better. I am not saying this because I don't like color books. I am a big fan of Rick Riordan.
review 2: This is a perfect tool when you want to go back and remember some of the facts the author was so gracious enough to research, as well as a few facts from His Kane Chronicle stories. It really comes in handy when you and your daughter are having a difference of opinion of Ancient Eg... moreypt. I also like the activity recommendations from the author. We just might try our hand at a little hieroglyphics. I just wish the author would continue this series or create a new Egyptian based series. less
