review 1: Josh Stone is a responsible single father. He runs the family garage that was passed down to him from his father, loves and adores his baby boy, his mother and his best friend Nick.Nick and Josh have been friends since high school and Nick was there for Josh and little JJ when his mother ran outon them leaving him a single dad.He spends his friday nights with one night stands never bringing anyone around his son.He owes his best friend who is a romance writer, so he agrees to pretend to be his boyfriend for a week at a writing convention. Tons of women and Josh has to play gay, stay away from the hotties who want him and sleep in his best friends bed, well for an alpha like Josh he'll never make it that long especially since the moment he lays eyes on Leelee. She's perfect, ... moreeverything he could ever want in a woman and he can't do a thing about it, afterall he's Nicky Love'sboyfriend, he doesn't find women attractive.Stone, at Your Service is hilarious, crazy at times, full of sexy situations, hot men, some slightly off their rockerwomen and a huge struggle between attraction and keeping a friends secret.I enjoyed this one from the first few pages and look forward to the rest of the series.
review 2: I received a gifted copy for an honest review.Ever since his wife walked out on him and their son, Josh Stone has become a total man-slut. He is completely devoted to his son, JJ, even going so far as to sing Disney songs to him at bedtime, which is totally adorable. On Friday nights, Josh's mom keeps JJ, so he is free to get laid without any guilt.Josh's best friend is Nicky Love, author of paranormal romance. Nicky loves writing and being popular but doesn't like the crazy fangirls that grope him at the signings. He has come up with a plan for the upcoming Literary Love Convention, Josh will attend with him as his boyfriend! Because he is such a great friend, Josh agrees to help Nicky. LeeLee Songchild is an up and coming romance author. She appears somewhat shy and reserved but wow, does she know how to write smut! There is an instant connection when Josh and LeeLee meet but Josh isn't in a position to act on it. The more time they spend together, the more difficult it becomes to resist the attraction. Especially when things happen where Josh has to be LeeLee's knight in shining armor. Josh hasn't ever had such strong feelings, even with his ex-wife. He is feeling torn between his desire for LeeLee and being a good friend to Nicky. This may be Josh's only chance at real love. Does he let her go and hope to reconnect with her at another time or does he stay loyal to his best friend? I had a difficult time getting into this story, but at about 35%, it really picked up. Maybe it was the fact that this book is solely in Josh's POV, I'm not sure. I did love the bond Josh has with JJ and he seemed to be a great single father. I also enjoyed the banter between Nicky and Josh and they are super close like brothers. Josh and LeeLee have definite chemistry and there were some smoking hot scenes between them. I would recommend this book if you enjoy the male only POV. **Review completed for Devilishly Delicious Book Reviews.** less
