review 1: The story of Rene and Alexis was surprisingly sweet. Throughout the story I found myself urging Alexis to simply accept herself and stop letting shame tear her apart. I particularly enjoyed how, despite the content, Rene's love for his wife shades his every motive. It was nice reading a romance about a married couple for a change, especially a story that explores how rocky a marriage can become and the strength of will it takes to fight for the relationship instead of just giving up. I would recommend this to people who know the contex of the marriage relationship in the story and are not offended by it.
