review 1: General premise of the book was good and I enjoyed the idea and many of the details, especially the idea of the ghosts leaving as she figures things out along the way. It kept me reading. Yet the writing was messy and overdone, too many tangents and details that were unnecessary. Some great moments, but others that really didn't seem at all believable in any way. Generally I felt the writing needed a lot more work, editing, and paring down. More "red pencil" work should have been done before publication, and as hard as that editing can be to the author, it would have made an infinitely stronger book.

... mored with Bruce Willis: the main character, Sam, is haunted by ghosts from her past and has to learn from each of them to move on with her future. It's a clever, fresh idea that the author uses to propel her well-crafted storyline. And even though this is a self-published novel, the writing is phenomenal -- I hope this author writes more! We need more of this kind of book out there -- clean, fun, and smart! less
