review 1: I was worried I wouldn't like this book as much as the first but I think I enjoyed it even more! I liked Stella a lot more than in #1. She still did things that annoyed me and made me wonder why George put up with her but she didn't seem as awful. And what's up with George and his family? He supports his mother and sisters, even though one of those sisters is married and her husband has a job? What century did that family pop out of??! I can't figure that one out at all. Couldn't figure out Stella's big plan to kill Jamie either, because it didn't make sense to me at all. Other than those small things bugging me I still loved it!
review 2: I recently finished re-reading this book in preparation for the third (and last) book in this trilogy (Seamless). F
... moreirst off let me say, I never re-read books. Secondly let me say, I am so glad I did! Not only is the writing in this book great - it is superb. Not only is the story line amazing - it keeps you on the edge of your seat. But, it's the characters in these books that makes me love them the most. I feel as though Stella and George have become my good friends and as much as I want to read the conclusion of the series, I am going to be sad to see them go. So to anyone who hasn't read By a Thread and Tension, get off your duffs and do it as Seamless will be out soon! less
