review 1: I'm so glad this is the last of this series (is it?) but so sorry it's over. I loved the whole wild ride and was really excited to see that Patrick got a chance to tell his story! The first half of the book basically skimmed over the same timeline as the first three books but told from Patrick's pov. It answered a lot of questions and explained things I was wondering about so I really enjoyed it. The second half of the book was Patrick trying to move on with his life and forget Stella. So sad, I really felt bad for him. I loved how Billy popped up here and there with comments about Stella. It felt like he was the only one in these books who didn't see her through rose-tinted glasses and it was great that he was so honest about it. Maybe Billy or Jesse will get a boo... morek too? (hint hint!!!)
review 2: If you read the By a Thread series and loved it this companion novel is a must read. Do not read this book until you have read the By a Thread series.I loved the BaT series and was excited to read this one. Heart in Wire is the BaT series from Patrick’s POV with some new things thrown in. I didn’t feel like I was reading the same books again, his POV brought a new light the all of the events that took place in the previous book. Any questions that I had from the series were answered in this book. Seeing Patrick’s journey was heart breaking yet frustrating. There were so many times I wanted to give him a hug and then I wanted to shake him so he would open his eyes. Patrick is dealing with his forbidden love with Stella. He desperately wants to be with her and doesn’t know how to handle not being with her. All the same characters are back from the BaT series along with some new faces. Seeing Patrick’s relationship with Billy made me smile. I loved seeing that true bromance where they would do anything for each other. I can only hope with the way this one ended that one day we will get Billy’s story. He is a bit of a mystery that I would like to explore. R.L. Griffin has hit a home run with this complete series and I have loved every min of reading each of the books.#R.L.GriffinRocksMySocksOff less

I like Patrick a whole lot more now. :) I hope the ending is a set up for a Billy centered book.
