review 1: It is very rare that I can read a book that wows me in the first few pages. I honest to goodness fell in love with Mick and Piper the very second they met. The sparks fly every time they are in the same scene and this book is definitely full of heat, sensuality and lusty naughtiness! I was in love with Mick's arrogant, cocky demeanor almost immediately. He "played the part" to a T. I felt for Piper and the heartache she had endured in the past and I was happy for someone like Mick to help her find her bad girl side after a nasty, very public breakup. The chemistry, heat level, plot and flow of the writing really make this book one that I will go back to again and again. Playing the Part is easy to read, fast paced fun!

... moreazing read it pulled me in from the first words on the page! Mick and Piper are extremely relatable characters. The supporting characters in this book were also amazing. This tale has little bit of everything love; betrayal, heartbreak, as well as people will always have your back no matter what. Who of us haven't gone through bad breakup and let that breakup impede us from trying to move out and who of us hasn't fallen for the bad boy every once in a while and tried to redeem him? This is a story about overcoming any obstacles to give truelove a chance. This tale is so creatively written that it inspires us to believe in happy endings. Not only that but it also inspires us to reach out for dreams and no that nothing is an unattainable once you set your mind to it. I would 100% recommend this book for thumbs-up yes for yes four it deserves more than just two!!!! less

Piper - selfish cow, didn't like her at all. Mick - boring, totally did not relate, connect.

It was ok. Story line was not gripping for me. Parts of the plot were a bit spotty.

I could see the plot developments coming, but stuck with it. Not a bad book.
