review 1: A paranormal romance about keeping your word, finding a purpose, starting over, and choosing to believe. Clare is practical and a little boring; I admired how she gave up her job so someone who needs it could have a job, but inviting her psychiatrist to lunch to “break up” with him is strange, and it’s hard to relate to someone who claims to be frugal but who buys a $2 million home on a whim. Zach has a crippled foot and uses a cane, and he’s adjusting to a new life. He is stubborn and proud. Only seeing ghosts from her time period is limiting, and the premise that Clare needs to use her gift or go insane is forced.
review 2: I was really disappointed with this book. I thought that the concept showed a lot of promise. The problem was that some people
... morethink that vulgar equals sexy and unfortunately I'm not one of them. Also these characters may well be the two whiniest, useless characters that I have ever read. Not to mention that there is little to no actual story involved. Seriously disappointing. There is at least one other romance series out there that is almost exactly like this one only it is soooo much better. If you are looking for a woman who sees ghosts and falls in love with a man who tries to say that he doesn't but really does then check out the Krewe of Hunters series. Hands down amazingly better than this book. less
