review 1: The thing I love about this "Snow White" retelling is that the dwarves are just regular guys: roommates with horribly clashing personalities, one of whom is the heroine's brother (which makes her staying with them a bit more understandable). My other favorite things? How the heroine has weight and eating problems she works to overcome and her road to end up with her own Prince Charming. Really great retelling.
review 2: It is so weird to me that I liked this book so much. It isn't my typical read. I guess it just says how well the author did at writing it. The characters, the dialogue, all of it was so much fun to read. My only negative comment was that the ending summed up a little too well, and it felt very unrealistic toward the end, also there is so muc... moreh leading up to her romance but then the romance scenes never come. Not that this is a romance, but with the lead up to it, you'd expect that special kiss scene. That's all I can say without giving things away. I will admit that I had NO IDEA that this was a snow white remake, but knowing that now makes it even more fun. It's pretty clean, and I do recommend it. less
