review 1: Within Maxfield your allies are few and some friends may even be androids. Benson Fisher finds himself trapped within a school with other students unable to leave. Rather than go along with the system in place he continues to search for a way out. when he discovers that he has fallen in love with an android Jane, he tells the rest of the students and they escape. Byt escape is hard abd the school refuses to let anyone out alive.
review 2: This book overall was pretty good to me. It had a nice idea and semi well developed characters. I can kinda relate to Benson with how someone would want to get out of a place or situation really badly. I was a bit thrown off that immediately he wanted to get out. I had expected to at least have him wait and see how Maxfield wa... mores but nope. There were several plot twists and questioning things the characters do. Another thing I really liked were the different "gangs" because it caused further tension between the characters. Overall this was a really good book for me but it could have been better. From the choice of gang, to the way of escaping, to the ending in general. I would though, read it again. less
