review 1: I didn't realize I never put a review for this one either. *smacks hand* How could I have forgotten. I bought this one on a whim. The cover had me and the what the book was about had me and I am glad I did buy it all those months ago. This was awesome. My favorite character is Kane. He's freaking awesome. I was sad when he and Dai broke up, even if he was using him. Still didn't change my opinion of Kane. I love characters like him. He's so dreamy...I fell in love with this book...Actually fell in love with the whole series...
review 2: Ok so the cover looks very...yaoi, very gay, very homo...BUT!!! There are some heterosexual scenes in this book, that disgust me, considering I chose "Game Boys" for its m/m theme. The scenes are very detailed and long. And the ... moreauthor doesn't even warn us. Usually these kind of scenes are supposed to be short, and not so elaborated. They are offered too much attention. I didn't buy this book so I could read about behavior between persons of opposite sex. How a girl is raped at the pool, and how another one gives an old geezer a hand-job. Eww! I purchase this book so I could read about how a guy takes it up the ass and how he moans and bitches. I'm not even halfway through the story and this thing already is upsating me.I also noticed all the comments are quite negative because the main characters are 16 years old. So what? Weren't you the same age once? Besides, the genre of this novel is yaoi. And if you have read as many mangas as I did, you would know that school boys are very common and prefered by Japanese authors and readers. I usually give up quickly when a book is not up my expectations. And that's when rape, sluts, bitches and whores are involved. I also dislike threesome and BDSM.But oh well...I hope to finish this book.P.s I'm a shota-con fan. Thehe less
