review 1: With a combined rating for all the stories in the series since this was a box set I say I give it a five. It had those hot, possessive alpha males, some very very steamy moments, not whiny girls, little bits of drama and did I say some hot alpha males? If I had to picky favorites well I could pick one but I could put em in order. Luca,drake, Jackson and Shane. Yea I think that's about right. There romances were swift and all but the author made it work so it would be believable and I really enjoyed them all. I was glad to see the love story of each of the main characters.
review 2: Ms. Paige knows how to write hot sexy alpha males, sweet feisty girls and intense panty melting sex. I kept question myself as I read each book...why the hell did I wait to read th... moreis series? It had everything I love in each book. She makes you fall in love with her characters and has you rooting for them to get their happily ever afters. Yes each book is a standalone, but I would recommend reading them in order. All the characters show up in each book so have no fear that just because on ends you won't see your favorites again. I had a hard time trying to choose which is my favorite, but I will say Aubrey's story is just ahead of the others for me. I loved Luka and I could relate to Aubrey and her life. Their story is so damn hot...(fans myself).... Not that the others are hot because they are, they are all explosive and definitely felt sparks while reading them. I highly recommend this series to anyone. It's not just a college romance series. There is a love story with each, a valuable lesson on truth and honest. It's about looking past your past, finding yourself and building your future. Phenomenal read!!!PUSH THE ENVELOPE I'm in love and his name is Drake! Holy hell this book was so much more than just another college romance. It has steam, sweetness, swoon worthy moments and truth.Alexa I loved her. She's not your prissy college girl...no she's a real girl. She's a little feisty, funny and the girl next door. She's strong, but yet very vulnerable. She's been through a horrible relationship and doesn't trust easily. She trusts very few people her best friend, her best friends brother and her dad. Could she ever trust anyone again? Would love find her?Drake oh my...he's sexy, arrogant and a little alpha male. He goes after what he wants and doesn't take no for a answer. He wants Alexa and he will win her over. Their chemistry right from the start is Hot! There was a moment I had to stop reading because I thought holy hell that is freaking sexy! I loved how he went for it and didn't back down, yet he was willing to wait for her. She was different and he saw it. He didn't want to push her, but yet he wasn't gonna lose her. He would eventually break down her barriers with all his swoon worthy moments....love. It's true love finds you when you least expect it. If you open your heart and mind it can be a beautiful thing...that's what they have. I loved her dad, Aubrey and Jackson. Great support and true love I felt with each of them. They had her back and would be standing right by to catch her if needed. There is just something about Aubrey and Jackson that I need to know more about. I loved this book and just flew right through it. Can't wait to continue on with the series! Wonderful!!!HIT THE WALL #2Jackson....Drake....Jackson....Drake...DAMN! I can't pick because they both turned it up so much! Jackson in all his sexy man whorish ways was perfect. I loved him him book 1 and was blown away by him in book 2. Who knew a alpha male man-whore could actually be so romantic and make the best boyfriend....yep that's right best boyfriend! He's protective, sweet, romantic and freaking intense!Kaylie was the perfect girl for him. She's feisty, but yet sweet. She doesn't fawn all over him like all the other girls...hell it's like he didn't even affect her, but yet he did she's just good at hiding it. Their chemistry is explosive. He's a take charge guy in the bedroom and will make a girl quiver from his touch...hello!!! Love him! This was another great addition to the series and I am excited for Aubrey's story. I want a happy ending for her.OUTSIDE THE BOX #3Ok I have a new favorite word....fuckpology! Hell that word alone is hot...and so was this book, damn the whole series is. Why did I wait to read this? I will say grape fruit will never look the same to me...ever!Aubrey is has been in a bit of a dry spell for the past year, by her own choice. Known for being a serial dater she had quite a scare, so she takes a breather from guys. When she wasn't looking, she literally runs into the guy who could change it all for her.Luka...damn damn damn... I want a hot Russian hockey player too. He's sexy, athletic, smart and of course a alpha male. He's been hurt in the past so he's kinda of given up on girls until this hot little number bumps into him. He can't seem to get her out of his head, but he doesn't even know who she is until another chance encounter happens...then all hell breaks loose, in a good way...Lol"God, I could just kick him like my own personal lollipop all night long."~~AubreyOh hell yes I could! I could I could I could. Holy hell! The spark between them is intoxicating and intense. They are both trying to not let their past get in the way of what's building between them. Both are falling for each other and the build up of them together was...WOW! I want a Luka! He was possessive, but yet sweet about it. And then when he spoke in Russian oh hell melt the panties and make my heart swell. "Ya tebya lyublyu"~~LukaI think this was my favorite of the series. The sex is hot, intense and sweet. But yet there is also a love story mixed in there about moving past your past and finding your future when you least expect it. I loved this whole series...definitely read!SUMMER NIGHTS(Novellas)Loved the bonus novellas with the series. In Hold Your Horses i was excited to read this. I wanted to see how life for Char ended. I wanted her to realize and see what her happily ever after was. I liked being able to get a glimpse of Shane and how they were with each other....perfect. Push it forward was a nice addition too see more of Drake and Alexa. It also was nice too see the sexy alpha male pushed against the wall. He was so protective and I knew things would eventually come back to her past somehow. It was a nice little story to get to their future. Perfect addition! less
