review 1: This book can be described as a book you never want to put down. The Italian family in this book reminded me of my own. The grandmother reminded me of my grandmother and great grandmother with her sweet personality. The book makes you love characters and hate them all in one book. I cried, I laughed, and fell in love. You can relate to these characters, but change your mind throughout the book as their personalities change. Rosanna Chiofalo makes you feel like you're in Italy and of course we can't forget the Italian bridal shop in New York. This book has the romance that any type of woman would dream of! It has a dreamy Italian man in it afterall. Please read it! You won't regret it.
review 2: I was intrigued by the premise of the book. I found the supporting
... more characters more interesting & likeable than the main character. I just could not warm to Valentina, who is a little too perfect. I liked Olivia with her superstitions and past love. The predictability didn't bother me - it is chick lit! However, many people seem to like the book, so I wouldn't discourage anyone from reading it. Just not my cup of cappuccino. less

Not my cup of weak tea. Perhaps an editor with a stronger hand might have saved it from mediocrity.
