review 1: 3.5 stars. There were a couple colors I thought could have been better described (purple), but I still like the book and it's format. Each page includes a flower like cloud with the color in English and Spanish. Many of the objects are Hispanic with a universal appeal. Brown is a churro, warm and sweet and homemade chocolate- a special treat. Mmm, my favorites. Any Spanish words used are included in a glossary. The illustrations are painted with a slight folkloric feel and are wonderful.

Sweet, brightly colored full-page spreads with rhymes that impart information on Mexican culture.
