review 1: This book started out decent but just got more and more stupid with each chapter. So this browbeaten downtrodden woman is on the run from her abusive husband and just manages to land right in her very own fairytale? Yeah, right. In about 1 week, maybe 2, she has the town lothario madly in love with her, manages to find her long-lost father who abandoned her when she was a child (yes, he just happens to live in this little town, how convenient) and forgives him and moves in with him, and discovers that this guy she has been pining for (for 7 years after a chance 1-hour meeting) just happens to be her dad's best bud and oh yes, he's been pining for her also. Yep, now she has not 1 but 2, count 'em 2, men lusting for her! The whole thing was utterly implausible. I can har... moredly wait for the Disney movie.
