review 1: I suppose that my overall impression of this book is = sweet and enjoyable. It certainly got me thinking about Alzheimer's Disease in a slightly different way and the story line did keep me engaged and wanting to know 'what next'. There were moments too which made me laugh, and I've picked out a poignant quote to share, however I guess this was an unrealistic almost fairy-tale view of dementia and family strife and one that glosses over or avoids the uglier side of the disease. If only it were truer.
review 2: a beautiful book, it had me smiling, laughing and crying all throughout reading this. Its an inspirational story that tells you no matter how hard things are in life try to do the one thing that matters in life, be happy, live a happy life the way you wan... moret it, take chances and be happy in love. loved this book! could happily read it over and over again. i would highly recommend this book to everyone! less
