review 1: I thought the story line was decent and had good "bones." It was, however, very confusing to read at times. I often found myself going back to re-read things. The transitions were horrible and there were times when I had no idea what day or time it was. The love scenes were sort of weird and awkwardly written. Trying to figure out what the author was saying sort of took away from that. And Brie was quite annoying. I agree with Brain--she was ice. I never really warmed to her but was glad that she got her HEA.
review 2: A NICE ROMANCE, MYSTERY, I THOUGHT THIS WAS A VERY LIGHT ENJOYABLE READ. TAKES PLACE IN A QUIET BEAUTIFUL LITTLE TOWN, WHERE A VERY INDEPENDENT SINGLE SCHOOL TEACHER/LANDSCAPER LIVES. THEN NATHAN MOVES BACK TO TOWN WITH HIS TWO BOYS, SO HE ... moreCAN BE NEAR HIS PARENTS AND HAVE MORE TIME TO BE WITH HIS BOYS. I WONDERED WHY THEY DIDN'T KNOW EACH OTHER ALREADY SINCE BOTH GREW UP THERE (go figure)? IT WAS VERY ROMANTIC, MILDLY SEXY, HEARTWARMING STORY, WHICH YOU MAY NEED A TISSUE OR TWO AT TIMES. IT WOULD BE A NICE PLACE TO LIVE IF THEY CAN FIND OUT WHO HAS BEEN TERRORIZING BRIE FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS. less
